Yes Addy, we saw Social Network while we were in Chicago and I really think it's a sign of the times...depresses me to see how materialistic we have become as a society..it had some funny parts but I came away...depressed. (course I am usually mad so that was a change.) Remember that great short "poem" about the terrible two's?

Going to go look for it.........

Default Found it...

Toddler's Creed

If I want it,
it's mine.
If I give it to you and change my mind later,
it's mine
If I can take it away from you,
it's mine.
If I had it a little while ago,
it's mine.
If it's mine,
it will never belong to anybody else,
no matter what.
If we are building something together,
all the pieces are mine.
If it looks just like mine,
it is mine.

I think that movie would bring me down, too, Alffe.... and that's because its affirming what we already know...

That poem is priceless .... I don't think I've ever seen it... and I love it!!! I must fit that into my Grand-Addy's momma christmas gift. I'm putting together a photo book for her (and of course, one of my photo/music dvds - which I STILL want to do for you and will... one day... ) ok... enough

on my plate... some dinner soon... winding down for 2 days off...

in my glass... wine

Addy, you can have that printed on a little Tee shirt for that toddler...I've done that before...in fact they sell them on the boardwalk in Florida.

Woke up way too early with a racing mind...leaves, leaves, leaves....
Company coming next week, then we are having Thanksgiving here, then a short trip south, then Christmas (not done, hardly begun shopping) then a short cruise, then a week in Fla at our timeshare....impossible to sleep with a racing mind. ...slow down, one day at a time...today, leaves!

The neighbors across the street from us moved suddenly last week. No for sale sign yet, no nothing..that is the second family to move away..a sign of the economy..or was it something I said.

Hi everyone!! Another day here with a HUGE plate of food, too much to eat in one day of course.

Alffe, our neighbor moved away too with nothing said, it was kind of a shocker for us. So now their is a new neighbor in the apt across from us, and weird stuff has been happening - noises late at night, foamy soap in the hallways, and the first week - there was a broken iron in front of our door. Curious to see the fellow soon enough, with all these mysterious happenings. I did spot our old neighbor, moved to a better/bigger complex across the street.

Doody, I hope you are feeling better today. Have you ever heard of or taken Emergen-C? They sell it at most places now and its heaven-sent for me... you mix it with a cup of water and its an extra dosage of vitamin C. I can tell it works for me because I get sick so often. Which reminds me, I have surgery scheduled for Dec 1st - tonsils have to go and the sinuses have to be enlarged. Ugh

Addy, do you have Netflix? I love it! Why bother going to the movies anymore when you can have endless movies streaming on your tv at all times now. Alffe, I saw the Social Network twice and loved it ... but I see where you are coming from. So sad it had to go down that way. But if you were depressed seeing that, then don't see "Catfish" also about facebook and a woman living a fake life using it. WOW That movie was intense.

Addy, which book are you reading?

On my plate today is lots of stuff to get done, so I stayed home from work to do it all, but havent done a thing yet! I'm thinking a shower, lunch, and a walk, might help me get motivated.
