Did you know... that kids as young as 6 are being bullied???

My sister got on the school bus to get my nephew off... she walked on just in time to see another student slam my nephew into the seat. He's 6 and doesn't talk to much. He's smart but doesn't talk much as he has nerve conductivity problem between his brain and his tongue. He has to really concentrate on what he is saying.

We think my nephew has been being bullied for some time as he's had many unexplained bruises and knots on his head. He's been claiming he's sick so that he doesn't have to go to school. He also has been staying up all night so that he doesn't have to go to school...

We just never put 2 and 2 together... His parents feel really bad... we all do.

OMG Abbie... I am so sorry to read this...but you were able to put two and two together... I know you are all literally sick over this and wish that you had caught it sooner... but, sadly, you didn't and you don't deserve to suffer over this now... an angel got you on that bus to witness and see what your little loved one couldn't tell you...

I was bullied also. From military school,to public school. I have been treated very badly where I use to work over 10 years. You never forget it. Here I am 6'4",strong physically. At one time I was tall,and real thin. I started boxing lessons,karate lessons,and lifted weights to get these bully types away from me. Many of them try to put you to shame in front of everyone.

I think that these sadistic type of people could tell that I was having emotional problems,and they came after me. My friends saw this happening while I was growing up. My dad saw one follow me into our yard. My sister saw one give me problems on the bus going to school. I had one when I was about in the 3rd,or 4th grade follow me home,and fight me in my neighbors yard.

I was having problems with anxiety,which turned into greater anxiety by the time that I was in 9th grade.

I had some very mean bosses. BF

When I was about 25,I was worried that I might accidentally hurt a bullie if they came after me again.

I lifted weights,jogged,had taken boxing lessons,and took Karate lessons.

This didn't help me of course with bosses. They would give me a hard time at will. They could yell at me at will. They could get away with what ever treatment they dished out. They couldn't touch me though. I could call OSHA if they did. BF

I Found out this morning that my best friends son... 12yrs old has been being bullied so bad that he told his mom that if it weren't for a few friends he would be dead!!!

He was in a school of 1100 fifth and sixth graders... From what I was told "C" was shoved into lockers... tripped, kicked, punched, called gay--along with other similar names. "C" was saying he wanted to die.... His grades went from A's & B's to D's & F's.

It was so bad that the only resolution was to pull him out of this school and place him into a private school of less than 200 students total in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.

It is now 2 weeks later and "C" is adjusting back to a childhood without fear. Time will tell what happens...but I'm praying that his grades come back and so will the "C" we all know and love.

NO CHILD SHOULD LIVE IN FEAR... AT HOME, AT SCHOOL, ON THE SCHOOL BUS, OR ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Abbie, TG his parents were responsive and pulled him out of that school! I am just apalled at this kind of behavior...it's cruel and inhumane.

Update on my nephew... My nephew is 6yrs but a tiny little guy.. he's about 4ft tall but less than 45 pounds.

My sister called... they were able to get him onto a different bus... a bus for special needs students. There is only one other student that rides this bus.

I agree that my nephew needs to be away from the bully on the bus... but I also believe that the bully needs to be dealt with and probably shouldn't be riding the bus.

I have an awful feeling that the bully will just chose another child to bully.

I am also fearful that since the bully goes to the same school as my nephew that something may still happen at school....

It's just not right... someone needs to deal with the bullies...
I'm just lost right now...

I would definitely go on record with the school principle, the driver, and the kids parents and I agree that he'll probably pick on someone else.
And what about the PTA...are there still PTA's???

I also think that it would be a good idea if the parents of these bulles would be called. Amen to that Alffe. BF

One bullie that was always giving me a hard time at military school changed his ways towards me. He saw me having anxiety problems,and he escorted me to the infirmary. He saw that I was having troubles,and I told him that the infirmary wouldn't let me in. The chief nurse wanted me to go away,and thought that I was "gold bricking".(Making believe that I was sick) He tried to tell them that I wasn't making believe that I was sick.

I changed schools after 3 semesters. I went to a private school,and landed in a dormatory,who had a chief bullie that they called Beast. He was tremendous. He thought that he had to put me down the first day that I arrived. I guess that he thought that It was his turf,and I was a military school student that he had to dominate. I had problems with other people there. I was there because I have a reeding problem,and most of the other people where there because they where juvenile delinquents. I had proper conduct. BF
