I wonder if anyone has a Stams store where they live. I stopped there last night after work to get some yummy chocolates to feast on aftrer surgery. Lord they have good candy!!!

I wonder at how in awe I am of everyone's support here and thank you for thinking of me. The surgery went well and the doc did everything he told me he would do. My knee is bandaged with a gigantic, and I mean gigantic glob of gauze and stuff. Plus I have to wear this tight white stocking for 3 more days. It goes from the foot all the way up to the thigh. Supposed to help prevent any clotting.

I wonder at how drugged I am. I wonder that I'm glad I stopped and got groceries and movies to watch last night since I won't be able to do that for a couple days.

I wonder at all the poor trees here and the 100,000 homes in Iowa without electric. Another large rain/ice/snow storm is coming in tonight and tomorrow. The tree damage is just mind boggling. The governor even declared a 'civil' emergency and asked that the people without electricity seek shelter before the new storm hits.

I wonder how my knee will feel when the local anesthetic wears off.
