Default R.i.p. Dad 21/6/1996

At his funeral I never cried,
Though I did a lot the day he died.
I tried to be strong for mum and all,
And show my dad I would not fall.
Fifteen years have passed by now,
How fast it’s been, I know not how.
Do I miss him? Oh God I do,
His gallons of tea, and Irish stew.
Is he with me, when I pray?,
Of course he is, it’s the longest day.
What a day to pass beyond
When night meets day..and that day is long
The price for cancer is a life to pay
But in my heart dad you will always stay.

R.I.P. 21/6/1996
