Sigh......way too much, I am posting because I NEED to.

So many people tell me "Dottie Make sure u take time for u" Nice to say.....would be wonderful IF I COULD.

Mom is not getting any better........My uncle is still drinking more rather than less....I am working 40+ hours a weeks and have NO HELP!!!! I am paying some one to be here for Mom daily Because my uncle CANNOT or will not be a responsible person and put the beer down long enough to make sure Mom is ok!!

I really shouldn't judge him because i have had a couple tonight myself! LOL. BUT MY GOODNESS, give me some help here PLEASE!!!!!

My sister ( who lives 1500 miles away ) tells me Mom is not going to get any better......................You need to think about selling your house so YOU can get her the help she needs!!!!! REALLY am I her only child?????????

Yes this is a Dottie Pity Party!!!! I am just so TIRED!! It getsw hard to ALWAYS be OK!!! everyone is really effin good at saying you need a break..........................................BUT no one is willing to step in and allow me one!!!!

I can't even imagine what the hell would happen if something happens to me!!

I am OK........I just needed to vent! And I KNOW this is a safe place. But I feel guilty because I am not very supportive here......I hope u all know I Am HERE in spirit!!

Dottie the role of caretaker is a nightmare I have trouble comprehending. It has to be exhausting, and obviously thankless considering the amt. of help you are "receiving" from your siblings. When my parents health failed, I was the only "kid" left in this town so naturally it fell on me. No one lived with us but in some ways it would have been easier if they had. (easy for me to say I know!)

Now that I find myself with this dx I need to stay on top of it as long as possible so I can make the right decisions for all concerned.

You have my utmost admiration and sympathy. Rant away and stay in touch.
