On Monday I will try Thyrogen shots for the first time. The schedule is a shot Monday, a shot Tuesday, radioactive iodine (diagnostic dose) Wednesday, and full body scan on Friday. I am nervous about the possible side effects of Thyrogen and hopeful the full body scan will be good news.

I am also coping with having had a gall bladder attack last week. I will be having some diagnostics for that soon too. It offends me that after enduring an ER visit where I was doped up to the gills and then enduring being dizzy for two days afterwards the best the family doc could do was to relay the message that basically I would need surgery. Gall bladder surgery is in my opinion overdone. In my case I can link it to HRT, so I was anxious to discuss how I could avoid surgery be adjusting my estrogen, progesteone balance. It offends me they would rubber stamp a surgery without even getting more diagnostics than the few blood tests I had in the ER.

Very big on my plate is my soulmate's proposal of marriage, which I accepted and then proposed back at him and he accepted. We are still working out long distance and making the tough decision of who moves where and how to cope with my special issues of being hogtied by desperately needing insurance for my cancer followup. We are so happy we could burst though. It hurts to have so little personal time because of my medical issues. So we sizzle the telephone wires a lot and make the airlines rich.
