We managed to tip our canoe over and land in the cold cold water while the wind blew over us. Dressing in all those layers would have been a good idea had we stayed IN the boat and the water was over our heads. Took many of them to pluck us from the water, empty our canoe of the water and put us back in different canoes. And it was a loooong cold way to our destination.

Barbo tells me we had fun and have a "story" to tell. I wonder if she has stopped shivering ! And we didn't drown.

Default Happy Canoeing
That canoeing story reminds me of similar outdoors stories which were hard at the time but good memories and character building. Thanks for sharing.

I am now wait listed for the sialendoscopy to unclog my salivary glands and have a consult lined up for another cancer treatment related duct problem in my eyes. My eyes now run a lot because one of the ducts is periodically clogged. Makes it look like I am crying but I am really very happy.

Ended the day at Hacienda with old friends...even told the canoe story and they laughed and laughed.

Addy, it was fun until the wet part.

Off work tomorrow.... They have raised the rent at my FIL's apartment to an amount that he is no longer able to pay...
Not for sure what we are going to do now... I'm hoping we can work something out as we sure do not want to move him yet again....

Had an interesting talk with my daughter about SI.... i have such awesome kiddos....
