Default What's on Your Plate?

It must be Friday because I hear the droning of the the trash trucks....
Mr.Alffe jammed his thumb playing basketball last night and it's all swollen..dam when is he going to realize he's old!

And Cooper, who Mr.Alffe says gets more sympathy around here than he does, is bleeding from his eye...don't know if he pulled a stitch or what...I'm waiting for the vet to open to see what to do.

I did finally make it to Curves yesterday and hope to go again today, depending on what we learn about Cooper.

And it rainned so hard yesterday there are green things popping up on top of piles of dirt, and coming out of the sides of the piles...in places I never planted them. ~sigh

What's on your plate?...................

I have to deliver PTA forms to the two elementary schools in the neighborhood seeing if anybody wants to be an officer for next year at the intermediate school. I need to school Mikey today too.

I've got to do some cleaning today as Efren is having a committee meeting tomorrow morning then I think he's taking at least one kid to Six Flags.

Sunday we have church and then in the afternoon, they are finally dedicating Robert's school and the middle school. He will sing with the choirs.

We had a magician hired to come and do a few tricks, but he called us yesterday and canceled. The only magic trick I know is a card trick... guess i can do that one. The kids have been out of school for spring break all week. Sis has been about half sick all week with sinus stuff. Shes suppose to go shopping with a friend today....
We are going to join the "Y". i dont know when we'll do it though...
I hope everybody has a good Friday.....

Unhappy

With many, many thanks to so many people I dearly love and owe so much - and crying my eyes out ... it looks like I'm saying goodbye to posting here. I'll sure be lurking, but I won;' t be posting anymore.
Oh, how I wish I could edit many recent posts - just erase them - but it's too late anyhow.
God bless and keep you.

Cooper report: He's home with a "basket" on his head that's rendered him helpless and pathetic. He also has more pain pills, eye drops and he has to have the stitches for another five days. He just stands around.... can't seem to figure out how to lay down. I was thrilled to see that they have improved on those dang things since one of our other dogs needed it...they are now clear plastic...so the dog can at least see where he's trying to go...course Coopers not trying to go anywhere... I bought him a new fuzzy toy that squeeks but he just stands there with it in his mouth.

Poor little Cooper!!! Bless his little heart and eye. My senior citizen kitty, Tinker, has just not been well for sometime, and she is going to the vet this afternoon. Ma and pa are taking her for me, so that is nice. She went a couple weeks ago and has to go back again because she started to get better but has relapsed.

I go to physical therapy in a couple hours to see my physical terrorist. He's pleased with my progress though I still can't completely bend or straighten my leg. Walking has gotten much easier and getting out of the car has finally gotten easier! Try getting out of your car when you can't bend your right leg at all.

No movie night with daughter. Son in law said I can't come down until they're finished with their basement where the family room is. To that I say....HA HA HA!

Guess I'll see if there are any decent videos to rent for tonight for my own lonely self.

I really really wish this one woman hadn't come in the office this morning and described in great detail the accident she came upon involving a deer. I ended up covering my ears so I couldn't hear her disgusting detail.

It's a very busy town here still cleaning up tons of debris from the winter storm from the last week in February when we got hit so hard with the ice and snow. The tree loss is tragic.

Oh doody, I just hate it when someone does that to me (tells me something awful I don't want to hear) I learned the hard way to watch my mouth about 30 years ago..OMG! I had to edit the heck out of this post...can't believe I was about to do the same thing to anyone reading.

I also hate it when I read something in the paper before I realize that there's going to be an image that I'll be stuck with for a long time.

Well, I wish you could come over here in your jamies and watch a movie with us but that would be a long drive. *grin Can you smell the ? I made sinfully delicious choc.sauce for the ice cream.....

Cooper managed to climb up the stairs...clunking the plastic shade on every step.

5 hours and I'm there. Oops, that'll be too late. Well, when I come for a visit, we can have a jammie/movie party.

Poor little Cooper!

I thought I would be done with my physical terrorist today but he wants me to continue. But next week I go 2x week instead of 3 and then hopefulllllllly I can stop, but I dunno.

Daughter and I are going to a movie in a real theater tomorrow, though we can't decide which one, LOL. She won't let me take us to the movie 300 because Ross wants to see that as well and he's busy tomorrow. Not sure yet what we'll see but I'm thinking Shooter so we can drool over Mark Walberg.
