coffee on the floor, um, that sounds like something that happened to me more than once. I still don't know what happened! Sorry you are having some lousy days with things happing that arn't good. Naughty kitty! Likes to make a mess with TP. I would have been T O'D too! I hope things go better for you, and that things will settle down and not give you trouble. I think we all have days that start and end bad. Bed in that case is gratefully wanted at night. Have a better day tomorrow. Be good to yourself. ginnie

I'm ticked off @ Comcast Cable (tv) !!!!!
I HATE the little boxes they gave out for basic digital cable in bedrooms or offices or garages.... etc.... The one in my room keeps giving me a message that they have detected an interruption in my service and for me to please check my connections and if the problem persists to call them at their 800 # . I can only disconnnect and reconnect so many times.... Knowing that I have everything connected correctly makes me want to disconnect and take it to their office and throw it at them!!! They obviously know there is a problem with the boxes or they wouldn't post the message when things go black!?!?!? ARGH!!!!!!!!!!! Frustrated, Abbie........

AT&T could not fix our phones or internet in 15 dispatches and 8 months of trying. I don't have cable but at least now I have dial tone. My blood pressure also went down from not having to fight pay for useless dispatches.
I also had a fight with Bank of America who continually changed terms and then lied about it. I read a good book by Irina Ratushkinskaya called Gray is the Color of Hope. It describes how to peacefully complain and not lose your humanity. A definite recommend. Lets complain but lets not lose our humanity. |

All those services are a bugger to work with. Makes you frustrated.
I wrote down the name of the book your mentioned. Sounds good. I also had trouble with bank of America. They tried to charge me for something ridiculus, using my own money. A $15 dollar charge, I dropped them like a hot potatoe. Don't use their credit card either. I had it with them. ginnie |

It took my nephew 4 days to get home from Afghanistan to be with my niece!! He had to catch whatever military plane was flying the direction he was heading!!!! It only took him a day to get there!!
I don't understand why they just didn't put him on the first available commercial flight they could once they got him out of Afghanistan!?!?!?! Our country is treating our military men/women and their families like second class citizens!!! When there is an emergency here at home!!! My nephew told my uncle that they are nothing but crowd control in Afghanistan, they are not wanted there, the citizens do not want us there. Our troops are lucky to get a shower once a week if they are lucky. I can't imagine living in 100+ temperature, dust/dirt, doing a job where I'm not wanted day in and day out. I wonder if our government appreciates the job these men & women are doing...well I really should say, these young boys and girls....the average age of solders over there is less than 22yrs. Sure doesn't seem to me that they are being treated very well. I'm sorry if you don't agree with me... but this is my rant, my rave. I'll get off of my soap box now. Abbie

Hi Abbie. We do need to treat our troops better. My son did the first gulf war, I have an adopted son of the heart serving right now over there. He has done two deployments and has two young children. He too feels like our mission in that country should be over with. They need to sink or swim now using their own resources, and get their own country together. I think our troops need all the help they can get when they get home! Hire a Vet, let them know how much we appreciate them, and then please dear God let them all come home now. We loose far too many young men for a country who no longer wants us there. I just wish the world would stop making wars. you have every reason to rant Abbie. Give that service member a hug from a stranger. His family is in my prayers. ginnie
