Out of curiousity, what do you feed Cooper? I know you have mentioned Alpo on here, but I am not sure if that is what you give him. It has been added to the recall list last night so I hope not! I am worrying about all our pet friends here, thinking of Otto too- and definitely don't want anyone to go through what I am dealing with now. I have been going to the vet every day this week, and am going there again soon today to visit my baby. Her phosphorous levels may be too high to maintain her since she is very toxic. I have decided to wait the weekend.

Those codes follow a “Best Before Feb. 2009″ date. This information should be checked on the bottom of the can or the top or side of the multi-pack cartons.

Wish, thank you for asking about Cooper. He eats Science Diet..crunchies and I occasionally cook him an egg to go with it. This is what our vet prefers dogs to eat. I continue to think about your sweet beagle.

You are thinking about E, who calls me Alpo instead of Alffe and who even sent me a can of Alpo dog food that I keep in my curio case.

I have been gone all day and night...went down to a wedding shower for my nephew, about three hrs. south of here....got lost coming home and Mr.Alffe had to "walk" me thru it cause I have no sense of direction and didn't know which direction I was headed. And I had to hurry cause we were going to a concert downtown 5 mins after I got back in town.

Needless to say I am going to bed! Hugs for the room.

Jumping in on the Alffe thread to give you another hug (((WISH))) - I sure am sorry that your sweet pet has been affected ... so, so sad.

My cats haven't eaten any wet food since all this started and I'm feeding them a brand of dry food that isn't in the "list". Thankfully. They drink a lot of water and I'm hoping they are getting enough balance right now. My pet store tells me so.
