Bingo went pretty good LOL I got several compliment saying i was a good caller because i was loud enough ...... I told them i get alot of practice being loud with my two teenagers at home.. They thought that was pretty funny.
I'm not for sure what we're doing today. Other than going to church this morning. I'd like to go get a computer, but that isn't going to happen. We got our taxes figured and we have to pay quite a bit this year. this is the first year we've ever had to pay the federal.... oh well..... I hope everybody has a good day today..... |

Goofy, I forgot to mention... I LOVE bingo!! My friends make fun of me cause they think its for old people, but its very exciting. I think its the adrenaline rush when you are so close, one number away. But, I've never won and only played a few times. I like the stampers too. I'm adding to my collection. We have a place about 30 minutes away, a Miccosukkee Casino with Bingo. Unfortunately, the Hard Rock Casino doesn't have Bingo - that would be fun too.
Curious, we went and decided to get the new McDonalds Iced Coffee. I had it the day before and it was delicious. But yesterday it tasted terrible and I couldn't finish. I'll have to try it again to see how it really is. Now its time to write that paper. |

HA! You two can have your bingo. A friend talked me into going with her once years ago - said it was a fun way for her to get away from it all. I found it highly frustrating, especially when I'd get so close and someone else would yell out BINGO. I felt ashamed for wanting to beat up blue-haired women I didn't even know. I needed a drink after that - and I don't even drink!
I was given a treat today. There's a certain time of day when I can see the sunshine without hurting my eyes. Around 7AM the sun shines on my lilac bushes without any glare from neighboring homes. I peeked outside this morning to see how they are doing. I noticed a baby Robin sitting on the fence next to the bush. I enjoy watching the young birds, especially the Robins. He'd preen himself, then look up to the sky looking for his mom, mouth wide open waiting for breakfast. When a squirrel came too close, he hopped into the bush and waited for her there. It's nice to know my lilac bushes also serve as nursery. No worms on MY plate today! |

((Kathy)) I am SO happy to see you posting.
The funeral of a good friend is on my plate in about an hour. Other than that, it's a very beautiful day here in Iowa.

Been thinking of your friend and his family ever since you posted yesterday. I'm sure they were prepared for either good or bad results, but not THAT bad. How tragic. I'm glad you have a beautiful day there. It's not much, but hopefully the spring air and sunshine can provide a little comfort to them as well - an added reminder they're not alone in this. |

Hey Alffe..... Hows Florida????
Doody, just wanted to let you know you were in my thoughts and prayers. Its been a weird day. There has been a slow falling rain most of the day. Most of our residents were sleepy and didn't want to do much. LOL... cant say that i blame them. Even some of our avid bingo players didn't participate today. VERY unusal... LOL I think i'm going to make some more peanutbutter fudge as the last batch i made disppeared in one day |

{{{{{alffe}}}}} I hope you are having a magnificent time down in FL...
I have been putting in job apps...Nobody is callin me yet I have been on lyrica for almost a month and i can feel a difference with my pain control.. I still have some burning-but i know it won't ever go completely away..I'm just trying to deal with it the best i can.... I have had MAJOR boost in energy since taking it though. I'm not sure if anyone else had this reaction or not.. I am lovin that part.I have been able to get some l-o-n-g-o-v-e-r-d-u-e cleaning done around here{anyone ever heard of thunderblast?} My mom got it for me at the dollarstore..It is REALLY good stuff! Having some problems with my girl-she wants to increase her meds..I REALLY don't wanna let her.She is on 20mgs of prozac.I think she needs to try and realize she needs to use her coping skills as well as take meds! I am worried about what will happen when she goes to the higher dose!! Otherwise i am just trying to get out more and get outta hermit mode........ It's not easy, but i'm doing it! Have a good week everyone~
