Default Cinco de Mayo

We always look forward to the celebration in the park....great food and music. There was a much smaller turnout today and my mind is wondering why......maybe illegals are afraid to show their faces...maybe there's resentment about the demonstrations in CA....I've always loved seeing the families...the children all dressed up in their party clothes..shiny shoes.

We ate corn on the cob that was slathered with mayo and sprinkled with parmesan cheese.....on a stick of course. Ran into our Mayor who claimed it was his favorite also. Followed the corn with a mango on a stick...sprinkled with lime juice and red pepper.... Then went back and had another ear of corn.

Some of you have heard this before......
