Heart What's on your plate?

Mr.Alffe is making me a raised bed garden for herbs and I am thrilled so far.
Still have no grass sprouting..but green things are popping up where I never planted them. Those septic people just moved everything around.

Cooper is recoving from his week at Camp k-9....sleeps most of the time. The vet scolded me for giving him aspirin for his arthritis so we are trying a new prescription. He is getting a much needed haircut on Wed.

I'm excited about Bizi coming Wed and the wedding we are all going to in Madison....have another wedding in May further south. I wonder if Bizi can scan and post the rollercoaster picture.

Hugs for the room. comcast is giving us fits...on again off again service.

Give Bizi big hugs for me. You and Mr. Alffe are such busy people. Did he get the berm done yet? Wish he could come do some berms for me.

I worked my tush off so far this week. Really busy this time of year with finals coming up and end of year budgeting. But tomorrow I get to go to a seminar, paid for by my boss, instead of going to work. Now that will be very nice.

What is a landscaping berm?

Quote:
Berms in landscaping are small sweeping hills that are usually created for the purpose of creating height and interest. They work well in landscape areas that don't necessarily call for damming or retaining walls. A good example would be in the middle of a large lawn area. Berms can help add height, levels, and interest to yards and landscapes that would otherwise be dull and flat.

I can't believe that I am still up this late... Am on my way to bed but had to say that Mr.Alffe did not make me a "berm"...but an above ground garden...this one smaller than my last one...about 15inches high...filled with dirt, sand, manure....a square...2by 4's???...to sit on, so I can weed..easily. LOL

Bizi looks fabulous! and she loved my cuscous...and she's the reason I'm up so late.

but if Mr. Alpho didn't make you a berm, did he brought you some germs?

Were there ferns done by Vern?

did anything got churned?

Was everything confirmed before it was firmed?

should I be concerned or have my head in urn?

(speaking of Urns. Did you know that Keith Richard's mom just died? He said that when his dad died, he put his father's cremated ashes into his coccaine and sniffed it. His mom went with a burial...smart woman!) *Keith Richard, the guitarist for Rolling Stones aka Rolling Weeds.

on my plate today was homemade Egg Drop Soupie without (_!_) and home made philly cheese steak sammach without Cheese...

and I am going to turn invisible again...

I have little tiny sparse blades of grass!!! But it's a start...and I need to get them watered before Bizi & I go out to play because it's going to be 80 today!

She wants to return to the scene of her crimes...*grin...the big apple pancake at the Pancake House where she used to work. Then going to Shippshewanna for the usual.

The wedding was fabulous!..And loooooooooooooooooooooooong. 15 sponsers who walked down the aisle before the bridal party. Much singing....kind of like American Idol only different....looooooooooooong wedding vows. I have never seen my nephew look happier! But they don't ever need to talk to each other again because they said everything one could possibly say to a loved on in the vows they wrote.

We got in the hot tub last night with a mudslide or two....beautiful moon..not quite full. I need to get into the shower. hugs for the room.

Goofy your daughter is stunning!!! :waves-hello: @ BJ
