at the JOY of being married blessedly for 55 years Alffe and Mr. Alffe, so I share with you prayers of thanksgiving, congratulations and many happy returns of the day!!!

at all of the handkerchiefs, shirts, sheets, pillowcases, skirts, dresses, pants, jeans, towels oh the tea towels.... I ironed for the Mother figure in my life....
I, too, like permanent press.

at that scrumptious bagel Alffe pulled warm from the oven.... musta been delish.

at the pleasure of birds, especially songbirds frequenting our trees and such.

at being able to laugh at me because I am worth laughing at from time to time, even when my family groans at my humor.

at learning about posties, and anticipating the fun which follows.

Wonderful 55 years wow Alffemom Congratulations . So are you sure he is the one ? Are you sure its real love cus ya know I wonder most marriages they dont last 8 years. ya need to be sure.

I wonder if i'll ever see 55 with the husband????? i was totally excited this past july when we celebrated our 25th lol

i wonder at how exhausted i am after my first day back at work since i've been sick. this round knocked me on my tush.

i wonder if i can brag on the kid. he was asked to sing the national anthem at the schools basketball games last night.

i wonder if i told you he started to a christian university this semester and has decided to change his major from vocal music/performance to vocal music/ ministry. he plans on going to seminary. so proud of him.

I wonder that moi made us sour dough bread when we were visiting and we loved it!! I asked him for the recipe...instead he sent me the book and when I read the recipe, I could completely understand why he didn't give it to me.....who would have believed it!

I wonder that Mr.Alffe is hooked on the sour dough...has it every morning toasted for breakfast and now, now we are getting fatter on bagels.

I wonder that Mr.Alffe is taking me to Chicago Tuesday..surprised me with tickets to see Die Meistersinger Von something something...it's in German.

I wonder if I can leave hugs for the room.

How nice it was to see BMW and the rest of the wondering. I too have been waiting for the "go" so I could start sending notes. Then here today I got one from Alffe so I guess it is time to start! I wonder if the snow storm will hit here. If my old bones know anything it will be a doozy.

I wonder that I would translate but my sleep/lazy schedule just doesn't allow.

I wonder that Alffe might be having a late night on Tuesday. I just looked up the opera in wiki (that's pedia not leaks ) and it says it is one of the longest operas performed today. Approx. 4 1/2 hours. It also says it's a comedy. A Wagner comedy - that's like polar opposites to me but I don't know too much about opera.

I wonder and hope that everyone is safe and sound and doing alright during the freezing weather over there.

I wonder at feeling a little guilty actually because it's an absolutely glorious day here in paradise.

I wonder that the Lyric Opera house has the English translation high above the stage so one can follow along...

I wonder that I learned long ago to go to the matinee because I cannot stay awake for the evening performances...

I wonder that the opera house figured out to start this long one at 5:30 for the likes of me.....

I wonder that we have admitted to family and friends that one year we were lounging about our hotel room when Mr.Alffe looked at our tickets, to see what time the show started and it was for the matinee which had already begun...

I wonder if BMW knows how much her note meant to me....

I wonder if Poo got a lot of snow!

I wonder if our well traveled Abbie has been to Germany....

I wonder how so many of you have to live with the memories of prior experiences instead to being able to create new ones....Thank God for our wonderful memories.
