Oh, how kind you are. Thank you
I'm making the cake when I get back home. This morning I made myself "fancy" coffee. LOL

Long, hard day and when we got home at 5:30 I took a nap instead of making a cake
Much to my surprise - maybe more than I can manage right now - surgery is Friday - this Friday - Today after meeting with surgeon I went to the lab and all the pre-surgery tests are finished and all systems are Go.

LOL - I expected a long wait. Last time I did this I had a four month wait for surgery.
Now it's four DAYS.
OMG.
Of course I'll manage it. It's just rotten timing. Such lovely weather and husband has to spend it driving me around

I woke up thinking about you Wren....thanks for letting us know. I'm a terrible waiter....so I'm happy that you only have a short time until it's behind you.
And hubby will just have to enjoy being your chauffer...you are worth it, good company and the great outdoors will still be there.

Now, about the cake...................*grin

Ahhhhhhhh we talk together I did all the pretesting Monday. Someone called yesterday and left a message saying is was all fine except one test they will repeat tomorrow morning while I'm being prepped
While that horrible stat????? thing is being screwed into my skull. It's a giant open frame thing. It's the thing that holds my head steady so they can move me into the open MRI while doing surgery -- IF I understand things - LOL - Me, understand anything?
Yeah, sure, you betcha.

we are here at the same time! You aren't awake for all this...right? Any idea how long it will take? How long you'll be in the hospital?

Sending you lots of positive thoughts and of course you are in my prayers.

Heart

Last time they did surgery on Tuesday morning and sent me home on Thursday morning. This for brain surgery going in all the way to the center and right to the brain stem.

Of course they worry very much about infection and want people OUT.

The nurse that talked to me about "stuff" said her surgeon has that frame installed while people were still awake. Last time mine was installed while I was asleep. Who knows?

Thank you for prayers.
