i wasn't even born until the 60's.

now wren...you stop that crying. i swear i didn't mean any harm by sticking "it's howdy doody" time to run cirlcles in your brain.

i bet i can think of some other songs to go round and round.

Heh. We had, of course, an old black and white TV. They didn't have color at the time. I loved watching the show. Yes, I'm old. In fact, I was born May 18, 1949. Happy birthday to me on Friday! (My daughter was born on Mother's Day in 1976.)

Actually, from what I read, Clarabelle was played by several different actors, and as I said in FF post, one of those Clarabelles was Bob Keeshan who later started another favorite show called Captain Kangaroo. I loved his show too. He had a rabbit on the show, can't remember that puppet's name, and good ole Mr. Greenjeans, his sidekick, LOL!
