Hello all,
I posted a thread on this forum close to three years ago.* (My, how time flies!) I was at the lowest of lows and the support you all showed me was remarkable. I may have not been active on this forum since then, but I want to let those of you who responded to that thread and sent me messages that I really am thankful for your support. Despite my absence, I still think about the support you gave me when the going gets rough. -- F1D0 *My post count isn't high enough to post links, but the previous thread was here (remove spaces, replace words with appropriate punctution marks): neurotalk [dot] psychcentral [dot] com [slash] thread159506 [dot] html |

I got goosebumps reading your message.
So many people come and sometimes go and I often wonder about some of those people and if they're doing alright or maybe not. I hope that you are now feeling well and strong and that you continued your studies and are feeling more positive and confident about the future and what it holds for you. take care of yourself. |

Even though I wasn't around then, I am so glad this board helped you. I have been on the opposite side in this room, being suicidal, and the care that poured out was incredible. great bunch of people.

Great to hear from you FIDO ! Here is the link to your thread
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread159506.html On rereading it I was struck by several things. I am too depressed to share them at this time but trust me when I say that living as a survivor of my son's suicide, our family is forever changed.

Thanks for the emoti-hug and for posting the link. And I am sorry if the old thread triggers any bad emotions or memories for anybody -- that was of course not my intention. I suppose I posted the link simply to let anyone that might remember me know that I am doing okay (relating to the notion that Lara posted above). For what it's worth, I am doing much better now and I wish the same for everyone here. You are good people and you do make a difference.
