Default yet again...

Life has thrown me a curve.... my little monsters so called "father" has once again put in an appearance into our lives after 28 days of peace at least from that small portion of our lives. Work continues to pull every ounce my being out daily. At one point they had revamped my work to allow more "down time" when working to accommodate my RSD. So much for that The last 6 weeks many people have "jumped ship" so they are once again pushing more shifts on me. Last week was the lowest number of hours I have worked in that time and it was 48, doesn't sound bad but for an "older nurse" working about 75% of those hours in a crazy ER setting. Seems that fractures and chest pain are oozing out of the earth and finding their way to my ER doors. Also seems all the drivers in my small world are hell bent on running each other off the road or into each other.. Chaos chaos,
More work=morepain... more pain @work = poorer pain control, cannot take stronger pain medication....

Just wondering if all this fighting is worth the the agony of the body and mind no end to it all
