I'd really love to be able to offer some on the spot practical help to you and yours Curious. It all sounds totally overwhelming. However, having said that, I have been in similar situation. Not the same of course, but you'll get through it in the end and once all the change has taken place and everything is settled it'll just seem like a really bad memory. I gather there are some really complex legal issues going on and I hope you're in a position to have some help sorting those out as quickly as possible. Easier said than done I know. I wish there was something that I could do to help in some way other than just sending a hug but unfortunately distance makes that impossible. Please keep us updated so we know where you are and how you are. I'm trying not to pry too much here on this open forum but am concerned that you have a place where you have moved or are going to move while the rest of it all gets sorted out.

thinking of you, curious. It'll work out in the end. It's the getting there that is so hard. HUGE
