Default For bizi

I have'nt been to the old place in forever!!
Yet this morning i stopped by,i saw a thread started by Bizi there.
I read where she has carpal tunnel, and ulnar nerve problems.
I had this very same problem about 3 yrs ago!!
I wore the hand splints while on the comp and at night. That helped greatly with my carpal tunnel.
If your having problems with your elbow.Be sure and use a pillow under your arm whenever you can as to ease discomfort.
I even used one at night and tried very hard to keep my arm straight.
I ended up having the surgery.
Hopefully you won't have to!!
Take care and good luck~!~

Oh no, poor Bizi!!!! Hi ((((Bizi)))).

I had the carpal tunnel surgery as well and it really helped. My dad had both of his wrists done and it helped him.

((((Bizi))))

Um, Ms. Alffe, what concert? Details Bizi, details.

And, um, Ms. Alffe? Would you like a report about the concert I'm going to, Little Feat? I 'dated' the drummer when he was an unknown and lived here. Whenever they come to town, I have a standing invite, complete with friends, to the backstage after the concert. Heh. This is Richie. His son was in a bad car accident a few years back and suffers from TBI.

Bizi may even know of Little Feat.

Sorry, got way off the mark here.

((((Bizi)))) I hope you feel better soon! Love you and your momma and daddy and sisters, and well, the whole family!!!! Hugs and kisses.

I have ulnar nerve compression. Cubital tunnel. I don't have any carpel tunnel problems thankfully. I hope bizi has a look in the TOS forum. There are some amazing posts of information in there including exercizes and illustrations of where the nerves sit in the arm and shoulder and neck.

I still don't know what's up with mine all this time later. I injured it years ago but then I started having other symptoms and now I think it's all coming from the compressed disks in my neck rather than being just the ulnar nerve compression. The worst part of it all back then when my elbow (and consequently my hand) was really bad was what I call "the claw" although I laugh about it, it's not very funny and it's caused me to drop things like knives and heavy objects. Still does.

I hope you're getting it looked into, bizi. Don't be a naughty girl like Lara and ignore your own health issues. Although I think if I'd gone to the doctor when it was at its worst I would probably have ended up having surgery for the wrong reason. Who knows. At times when I get too much fluid buildup in my body I notice it plays up again. I don't do anywhere near the physical work I used to do these days. I miss it but my bones, spine and joints wouldn't be able to do it anymore. sheesh, some days I feel old. lol

bizi, take care there.

Cool

Sorry i missed this thread for me...
golly you folks are so nice.
My arm/hand are so much better!
I thought for sure it was carpel tunnel syndrom and went to see an occupational therapist to briefly discuss my problem. He said it was probably my ulnar nerve and that I should not use my wrist brace because it was cutting into my fore arm and hurting. I have learned to pay better attention to jsut what activities I subject my right arm to and aming learning to use my left arm for the mouse and my driving.
I have been doing some stretches but when ever I do them it sort of irritates my arm...so am not sure if I should be doing them.
Looking at my posture which is poor and my neck has had issues for years...creeking and cracking, self adjustments for my whole life practically along with my back and my hips too.
I did see the tos forums and I hope this doesn't turn into something like that.
I have been getting head aches and am trying to ignore them...sort of head in the sand...denial of course.
anyway...
jeff(my hubby) and I went to see The police in new orleans last weekend and had a blast!!!!!
they were so much fun and we stayed close enough to walk to the arena.
French quarter for beniets and cafe a la coffee with milk. Bourbon street for a hurricane at pat obrians and a wonderful sunday lunch at coop's great food and wonderful bloody mary's with those spicy green beans!.... poor boys at mothers when we first got there. It was a quick little trip. It is all about the food when we travel.
Thank you for thinking of me....
You guys are great!
And have been such a great support to Alffe, thank you.
