Default helpless not hopeless
having to watch and hear so much pain and sorrow
is hard when a mother want to protect her young
powerless to a point
still worry i will get THAT phone call
to come and identify this body
i am crushed
holding of for dear LIFE
i am here for a reason
i will not give up HOPE
i am bound to a point
they know i will never let go
helpless
not
HOPELESS
