Alffee, I am so very sorry for your Pastor. She is very blessed to know you as her friend. I pray she has the strength to recognize she is and has been doing what is right.

Right now my cell phone company REALLY ticks me off.... GRRRRRR

Alffe, I just dont understand people sometimes.... I'll remember to say a prayer for your pastor. Maybe i should add the members that are giving her such a hard time.... Sounds like they need a good attitude adjustment.

Alpho, I really feel for your pastor. It sounds like she is such a good person yet the so called "Christians" want to judge her...

I have no problems with any religion nor its followers. It is when they want to SHOVE it in your face that I have a problem with.

I have told my Christian friends and Muslim friends the same thing. When I pray with you, I am sincere in my prayers with you. Not because I am praying for your God, but because I am praying for YOU. That "YOU" are what makes it special for me...

I have swung in the jungle of religion for a lot of years in my life to now that I like where I am in my life...

I am ticked at rude people...we are in the Northern parts of the states and rude people are everywhere...I find myself making fists and wanting to really really yell at them for turning me into one of THEM....

I wonder sometimes (I know, wrong thread) that if people know that their rude actions can cause a negative reaction and thus in the end it can go against them because I believe in what goes around, will come around...

I am ticked at many things at the moment...but will refrain from posting it...

but I will say this...seeing our grand children has helped steer a lot of these negative energy away...I love these kids...they are precious, they are wonderful...I only hope that they stay this way and on the right path...*bigsigh...

one thing I will mention before I leave is that we saw our two grand children playing in the park, catching bugs and were entertained by holes in the ground, butterflies in the air, clouds in the sky...and it takes me back with them...I think we all need that sometimes...to be refreshed...

Yes, I think so too. There's a little bit of that little child in all of us. Just some people shut it off completely. Don't ever lose that little child in yourself, Moi. That's part of what makes you so special. As I've said before and I'll say it again, it's all in the details. Those bugs, those butterflies, those clouds, the dirt, the grass, the ants, the leaves, the trees... climbing a tree and pretending you're Maid Marion (or in your case Robin O'Hood lol). Climbing a statue in the middle of Washington DC outside a government building even if it's highly illegal ;) . Sticking the face full on into a bowl of flowers just cause they look almost edible and so inviting and then to be enveloped by the glorious smell... too bad about the bees. lol

It's all a balance, Moi. Some times we go a little too far this way and other times we go a little too far that way but in the end it'll balance out again. Don't let people make you feel so bad. I know it's not easy. Heck, that's why I'm a happy hermit ;). I know it's been that way for so long in your life, but not all people are like that. Keep yourself surrounded by the people you love and those who love you and all those other nasty ones will fade into oblivion. I hear your pain and I'm sorry. I hope you're feeling better soon.

Balance...what a goood word, Lara....

Another word that I love is PERSPECTIVE...it is something that keeps us in balance and something we lose when things are out of balance...

But I find that it is the "little things" in life that give us that perspective...and it is often our friends (like you all here) that help remind us and pull us back from one end or the other.....

Thank you all for the perspective and balance you bring...

Oh dear Moi. Our talk in the car on the way to the airport a couple of years ago changed so much in my life for the good. I think I told you and thanked you for it, but wanted again to tell you how much that talk did for me.
