Default My Heart Hurts

Over the years in my 12 Step Group, we have lost so many friends. I has been a year or so since we have been to a funeral for one of our AA friends. I have been having such a difficult time lately with my own life and all of my own issues. Today we received a call from a friend to let us know that our friend had taken his life. I have known him for several years. Although we did not spend time together outside the meetings we were friends. He must have been so sad inside. My heart is hurting so much for him and his family it is almost overwhelming. I just wanted to share this, Dorrie

Dorrie I am so sorry to read this. It's never easy to lose a friend but to lose someone to suicide is horrible. Please stay strong and I'm glad you found us. We aren't afraid to talk about "it" here and we don't judge anyone for feeling suicidal...we have all felt that way at one time or another.

Please feel free to vent, cry...whatever helps.

I got in to the tub tonight to try to feel a little better. While I was in there I missed a phonecall so I checked my messages whan I got out......We were waiting for this call. I have to tell my hubby when he gets in that his Aunt has passed away. I think I will call it an early night tonight and get some sleep. Today along with the last week is too much to take. Thank you for your replies, I really do appreciate it. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Sure hope so

There's nothing like a good soak in the tub to make us feel better. I hope today is a better one for you Dorrie.

I'm so sorry ((Dorrie)). Sometimes our plates do runneth over.

If you suffer from any pain, I'd like to suggest adding Epsom Salts to your hot baths. Really helps.
