I have a bunch of wonders, I have a bunch of stuff I wanted to write and get out...but for now...

I just wonder if I can tell Alpho that I CAN imagine vinegar on fruit. I often dip strawberries in balsamic vinegar!

I wonder that I feel sorry for poor little Gracie walking around rubbing up to all my spayed and neutered cats! LOL! Chortle, meow, chortle meow, BIG MEOW. Since she was born Valentine's day that makes her..um..well she is about 6 months old. Poor little Gracie.

I wonder if Alffe would like to go to a movie at a theater and if I could talk her into a scary movie. :rolleyes: Not likely. Darn, Bourne Ultimatim's been taken, rats.

I wonder how embarrassing it was today at the department's 'retreat' for faculty and my boss wanted people to 'share' things. It was the first year ever that staff has been invited to attend along with faculty so staff people were pretty quiet. (New Chairman) We were supposed to discuss goals or bring an item that represented something about us, personal or job goals. Well....I didn't plan for ANYTHING! At break...boss says..."Nancy, do me a favor and speak after the break and get things going."

I wonder how my mind raced during that 15 minute break trying to think of something clever. Could just stand there and tell them about my life and have their jaws all dropping to the floor. Naw, not good. I ended up talking about my internet friends and their challenges (of course no names mentioned) and some of the challenges they faced growing up in the school system. And tied it up in a nice neat little bow about how I hoped our instructors (Education) made sure their students knew they would probably face issues such as bullying...and the taunting of Exceptional children.

I wonder that they thought it was a great story when I shared a few experiences of some friends (no names again) and the suffering they went through in school.

I wonder about one of the Dean's who didn't speak of business and goals as I thought he would and instead talked about...crikies, forgot his exact words. He tied his in to work by talking about his son who joined the services without telling them and is in Iraq. And he read some of his son's emails. I was nearly in tears. Anyway, his talk had something to do with balancing the stress of work and personal life.

I wonder about the professor who broke down in tears and talked about her past year, that few knew about. Her missing mother married to a druggie, abusing husband. And how they finally found her, got her away from the druggie husband and she is now in therapy and starting her life over. That was interesting.

And then of course there were the stiffs that talked about their goals for the next year for their grants and research. *yawn

I wonder how I just drank my last sip of wine and the bottle is empty. :p

I wonder at how excited I get that it's Big Brother tv night. Now...how friggin sad is that. :rolleyes:

Oh...I also wanted to wonder about what I saw on the way home from work. At a pharmacy I go by, they had a big sign out that said "Ask about our free shingles vaccination." And I thought...vaccination? So I went a huntin on the internet and found this from Fall 2006. I wonder, is this new??????? AND recommended for people over 60. Sciencedaily
