Arranging to see an experienced clinical psychologist is also worth trying.

Yes, of course, Kiwi, and they certainly are included on the lists in the url above.

However, suicidal ideation doesn't just occur between 9am and 5pm or whatever the therapist's office opening hours might be, so the advice supplied was essentially aimed towards people dealing with suicidal thoughts in the moment by giving them direction so that they can make it through until that type of help is available.
