You people are just too much....you bring me to tears...make me laugh out loud....give me bad advice......enjoy watching me squirm from down here...
I remember that Michael asked me once if I felt like a speed bump! Did I mention his great laugh.....he made people laugh when he laughed. I have some wonderful memories of him and it helps to think about them. What can I possibly say to you all besides thank you. June Cleaver indeed!!!!

Well, I did some googling to try to come to a better understanding of "June Cleaver", which I did.
In my travels I found this on some "Leave it to Beaver" site... Quote:

Laughing is sooooooo healthy!
I'm so glad you can still hear him Alffe! Ah sweet Lara - we often talk a bout things you don't have in Australia - like "Leave it to Beaver"... June Cleaver played the role of a 1950's, 60's idea of the "perfect wife/mother/woman" in America. TV fantasy |

I have an inquisitive mind. If I hear about things, I like to learn what they are. I don't mind at all about not having had certain tv programmes!!! These days we're swamped with it. LOL
Alffe, I'm thankful that you have those good memories. They're the ones we all need to cling to when we are sad. I'm glad it helps to remember but I sure can understanding how draining it is as well. It's a difficult balance hey?! (((alffe))) |
