Very rainey here today at times. Went to special services here

http://www.saintpaulschapel.org/

Still hard to fathom our inability to detect this danger...and it's hard to believe those huge towers could come down. *sigh

There was a class of young school children marching down Church street singing "I believe in Music"....not a dry eye watching.

Have to rest....going to see Jersey Boys tonight.

It still looks like a scene from an action movie whenever I see footage of those towers falling - doesn't seem real. It's hard to imagine the people of New York could ever fully heal from such a tragedy.

Good thing you and Mr. Alffe are there to brighten up the Big Apple. I hope you enjoy the show tonight.

I'm just too tired to wonder tonight...wanted to check in before crashing.
I love N.Y.... that isn't very original. *grin

Went to Feinstein's nightclub tonight for a dinner show...didn't think I knew who the entertainers were until they started singing....

And the food was just to die for....well, maybe not die for, but damn good!!!

Oh and lunch....well tomorrow I'll post about lunch. Goodnight.

Lunch...we sat overlooking the entrance to Central Park...in the Time Warner Mall..at Bouchon

http://events.nytimes.com/2006/04/19...ws/19unde.html

I had some kind of corn soup that was just wonderful (Bizi, you're right...it's always about food! ) I'm going to ask Bon Appetite magazine to request the recipe...I'd never be able to duplicate it. It was clear, pale cream colored with things floating in it...like pickled swiss chard stems..and half of a seeded yellow cherry tomato and whole basil leaves.........ahhhhh.

Of course we'll adopt you but you have to like to walk.

We rode the subway under the East River over to Brooklyn and walked back to Manhattan on the bridge.

This might be my favorite thing to do, it's free and the view is breathtaking!

Mr.Alffe took videos with his cellphone and now we don't know how to email them to ourselves or anyone else for that matter! ROFL
