Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and the wrong. Sometime in your life you will have been all of these.

Yes that is interesting. In fact, my massage therapist and I have talked a lot about 'storing' traumatic events in our brain and energy. My pain 'travels'. It's like a circus in my body. If my back doesn't hurt, something else does. If that something else quits hurting, the pain goes back to my back.

I can't remember what she called it, but there has been research done on this that shows this type of traveling traumatic energy, or whatever you want to call it, can eventually end up traveling to the heart and causing a heart attack.

I went to a weekend workshop 2 weekends ago and experienced self-hypnosis. It was too amazing for words. I've been practicing meditation at night before bed which helps me relax, and the type I do is to focus on the pain and removing it the best I can. LOL I don't know how else to describe it.

Almost went to start seeing a PTSD psychiatrist, but couldn't afford her, so with my amazing massage therapist's guidance, I'm trying to learn to do some self-healing. OF COURSE this does not exclude my doctors or medicines. We all need to holistically take care of ourselves I think.

Thanks for the link Tena. Interesting read.
