Hmmm, so we're plate huggers now huh? ((Vicky, Wren, Curious, Alffe))

Looks like I'll be stepping into the frying pan. I'm so worried about my friends. I'm hoping I won't get arrested because we'll have Geneva with us. I'm promising you now I won't do anything against the law, and I won't fight back if I'm attacked.

We're going to need a lot of prayers - a LOT. Think of it this way....

Imagine having to stand and smile on stage all alone while being triggered by EVERY painful memory you've EVER had. Your audience is the people who caused your pain, and they are taunting, laughing, and threatening to repeat their assaults.

What would YOU do if they started throwing stones at you? Would you continue to smile, or would you fight back? How many stones would it take before survival instincts kicked in? If you fight back, should you be considered a "hostile savage" and thrown in jail?

On a personal level, there are many triggers for me too. I'm STILL haunted by what I saw during the Civil Rights Movement as a child, and I didn't even know those people. I desperately wanted to see MLK when he came to town but I was too young. I was HORRIFIED when my "elders" threw rocks at him. If I see ANYTHING that resembles the marches that took place down in the south during the 60s, it will turn me into a child again. But this time the people won't be strangers - they will be my dear friends.

I appreciate your prayers.

Well of course you have my prayers KathyM...I demonstrated with my fellow Unitarians for civil rights...I lived through the sixties..I'm just a lot older and tireder but I sure understand about taking a stand. ~sigh~ You be safe!

Thanks ((((Alffe)))

I'm thinking of that video where police pepper-sprayed a mother with infant in arms because they felt threatened by the large gathering of Indians. The gathering was just a celebration after a kids soccer match, but still. Man-oh-man would that hurt my eyes!!

The police seem to be a little taser happy these days though. If I happen to get tasered, it would most likely kill me. It would also probably be reported as a justifiable casualty in order to keep the "peace." Weird, huh?

"DON'T TAS ME, BRO!"

You are a shy little thing...stop hiding your light dear lady! What kind of cookies will you be making...bet the oven is preheating even as I type.

I seem to have a critter in my house...I heard a litle thud and there was a baby flying squirrel staring at me from under the baseboard..the question is....where has he run to....and when will Cooper realize it....
