No you are not silly for getting so excited about a huge black hole in your back yard!
I have been that excited just seeing my commode back in the bathroom instead of the back yard!! love you girl, Jo |

This is facinating to watch...it's much more than digging giant holes..they seem to know what they're doing and one of them has a sense of humor..
He left one blooming flower for me...carefully drives around it..dumps dirt everywhere but on it... I've made them a pan of brownies! See what happens when you hang out with Curious.....Worried about you gal...gentle hugs.

Julie my husband took the dog to the park for a walk (we wouldn't dare let him out in the yard with all of that going on). And he's called me twice on his cell to ask what he's missing. So I can well understand that your boys would be interested.
We live in a 130 yr. old farm house..have lived here 32 yrs this laborday weekend and have NEVER done a thing to the septic system. It was new when we moved in and it's the old fashioned kind...they won't let anyone put them in now because of the environment. So, in anticipation of someday moving out of this house, we decided to get a new one put in. They came and worked 1/2 a day on it and then the rains began...it poured and wouldn't dry out. Finally, after three sunny days they showed up this morning.

And your yard was SO PURDY with all your flower gardens. I mourn your flower gardens.
But don't worry. They'll be purdy again. And I have some seeds I'm bringing you of the cutest flowers...(spread like crazy), and for the life of me can't remember them. It's so disappointing, the remembering thing. My daughter grew up with a momma who was very horticulturally inclined, well sort of. (Even wanted to get my degree in Hort but the dumb ***** advisor I talked to talked me out of it...said it wasn't really a 'girl's' field. That's when I switched to education. WHAT A dumb ***** when I think back on it!) Where was I going with that. Oh yeah, my daughter now can look at a plant and tell me exactly what it is without hesitation. Me...I have these plants and can't remember what they are! Hostas I know. Heh. Anyway, I'll bring you some seeds.
