Default I don't know whether to laugh or cry...

Santa Claus's this year are not allowed to say "Ho Ho Ho" for fear of offending women. They have to say "Ha Ha Ha".

Alffe

my words entirely

In the UK they have even asked junior schools to not do traditional Nativity plays, but to incorporate other religions in one play at chritmas..

utterly shameful that as christians we are made to feel guilt in this POLITICALLY CORRECT WORLD we now live in .

David

Rant over .............grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Are you talking about this ho ho ho story? http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,22738300-2,00.html

My first reaction was that Santas had been told not to use ho ho ho because is sounds like the derogatory use of the word 'whore'.

At any rate, if it is about the kids being frightened, a lot of kids get scared just because Santa looks the way he does! Not because he says ho ho ho. Geesh.

Default Hi,

In one part of Co. the town can't put up red or green lights. It offends religions because it is a part of Christmas. They have to put up white or other color lights.

The newmen had a heck of a laugh over that one. As one said, what are they going to do about the red and green traffic lights.

I can't believe what a mess this world has come to. We are quickly losing all of our rights and people don't seem to notice it except a few.

The schools are worried about what color kids wear. At my Grandson's school he can't wear a red, white, nor blue shirt due to gang relations. The idiot principal doesn't realize the colors relate to the flag also. The parents got up a petition and this principal is gone after this year. Boys can't color their hair but girls can. Boys can't have but one earring but girls can. I try to understand the reasoning why a person is so interested in color and doesn't care about how the kids are doing in school. His 9th grade class moved to the new High School this year and has been deemed the most immeture group the high school has ever had.

Sorry but when someone brings up a subject like this I really get on a soapbox.

We need to make sure that we do what we do at Christmas time and keep to our traditions. I love Christmas and I think it's sad that this is happening.

Oh don't be sorry Ada...I'm right up there with you! It is just ridiculous..children being suspended from elementary school for giving a hug to their friends. I'm a hugger by nature...love to get them, love to give them and this just really ticks me off.

*whisper...in the weight loss forum there is a wonderful cheesecake recipe. but don't tell anyone. *grin

Oh doody they (I have no clue who they are) also want the Santa's to lose weight because it sets a bad example to our already fat society.
