Default Safe but stranded temporarily
Thanks Alffe. Mostly OK here. I'm actually stranded (but safe and comfortable and still cooking and eating too much) due to rain and cyclonic conditions and now flooding. Hard to believe, but true. Worse weather down south and in the west really. They're burning up. I've not seen real summer weather like this in many, many years. It feels quite natural though to have the rain again albeit too much at once. I miss the tropics so much and this is quite tropical or monsoonal weather. Great weather for ducks!

Could be much, much worse...

My best to everyone. Sorry I am not able to be around much these days. I just hope you're all doing alright. The holiday season can be so very difficult for so many. My thoughts have been with you all.

i just saw the waves of foam on the news. they said it was from chemicals in the water.
