Alffe Alffe Alffe -- with the digital camera you don't scan. Scanning is a thing of the past. (well, I still scan printed things I want in my files but not photos I've taken). With a digital camera you just take the photos and, depending on your computer, the memory card (to me that's the film thingy ) goes into the USB cable or directly into the computer. Within seconds the photos are in your computer.
I use an ancient program - Image Folio - to reduce the size of each one, crop them, yadda yadda. It too is easy and fast. I have other photo programs but Image is the one I know how to use.
