And don't you stop fighting!! Abbie has a pair of these and I thought you would look mighty fine in a pair. They are special Keep on Fighting Gloves. We beleive in you Mistiis. You have the inner strength. So do we. We are tough enough to hold you up, when you can't.

Exactly.

And if someone does not give back after we have given and given to them-we should not feel it is because we are not valuable-let them own why they are not there for us. Their lack of giving is not about THEM not US. And then we need to keep reaching out to someone who IS willing to be there to pull us up and cheer us on.

all I have to say is this, mist, don't use those girlie gloves (OK, I am getting ready to get punched out here...LOL) you need men's gloves... LOLOL

but seriously...I think for those that do not understand, their defense mechanism is run the other way...but they sure do run to you if they need something...

There is something that moss wrote once. She was the type that would cut up the water melons and then take the seeds out for everyone. She did that each and everytime.

Eventually, that's what people came to expect. So when it came time for them to cut the water melon, not only do they not know how to cut it, they also do not know how to eat it with the seeds in...

I think her point was that she gave in and enabled because she cares deeply and much. But that can have its disadvantages.

We all think that if we give and give and give that the receiver would LEARN and that if when it comes time, that they might know what to do. Not necessarily back to us, but just understand that it takes both give and receive.

But they end up only learning that "Hey, it's always been done this way, that's the only way I know how to do it."

Not sure if I made any sense but then again, I never make any sense, really....

(((((everyone)))))

Thank you all for your kindness and friendship. It means the world to me. Sometimes I forget to put on that O2 mask. It always amazes me how good thoughts and prayers from others who care and understand can make such a huge difference. That one act of saying, "I really need you, and I need help," to the right person, in the right place, can make all the difference. And in this case, the difference between life and death. TG for my friends here. BJ, please know how much I care!!!!!! How much we understand. Fighting, and NOT giving up....
