Please don't walk away...
I know this may not make sense by these words have been stuck in my head all day. If someone you know is suicidal or contemplating such.... Please just be there for them. I know that this can be a very hard thing to do. I know that you want to protect your heart as you may not know what you would do without that person in your life... and you don't want to put yourself into a position where you may have to handle the grief. If you walk away or tell the person you can no longer be around them because of their state of mind.... It may just push the person toward the edge. You may not want to be but I'm guessing since the person who is suicidal is talking to you about "it".... you mean very much to the person. If you push away, build up walls, or simply walk away.... the suicidal person may believe they have no where else to turn. So please I'm begging you... don't shut them out, don't walk away... They need you.  Thank you so for listening... Abbie

I am of course wondering if someone did this to you Abbie.
I can't imagin walking away from someone who needs me to hear them...who wants me to listen to the pain they are feeling. Someone who needs supporting and understanding. Respect for one another defines how we live our lives.

well dear Abbie, talk to us or find another, better someone in real life. Who ever rejected you like that doesn't have a clue what friends do for each other. I am sorry for their stupidity.

Abbie,
I have to say that I have extra prayers and healing thoughts for you. I want to share from my point of view... when Thank God for Bizi and her advice on how to help a friend.. I could tell my friends was really sad and depressed I didnt think it was to the point of suicide because only signs were saddness and discontent . I just felt it ...a need to reach and try to offer help. It is hard but well worth the time and chatting as we have become MUCH MORE closer and we understand eachother . I think my hub gets jealous because I show more care and concernt for my pal allot of times, when before i didnt care or act as concerned with her and that adds to the void I seem to have with d.h. maybe  I dont know. but I agree If one needs help even if they do not ask for it..if you sense they need help WELL you should offer it..and offer it more then once!I am sorry I do not know what really is being thrown your way right now But I think your an Angel and I pray a blanket of healing peace comfort you and give you courage and wisedom. I hope you know that all of us here ...ARE HERE FOR YOU, to lean on and share anger saddness and what ever else comes your way. I am sorry you are going threw such a low point and i Pray things elevate to be a better more peacefull time. p.m. anytime i have good ears as I know all of us here do. Moose always here.
I spent too much time convincing myself I was a victim. Never again. PM, email, myspace me with these troubles. I was at the bottom of a bottle for too long. Forgot how to fight. I'm sober now. And all I do is fight back. Turn away? I'll grab your hand if you don't offer it.  Don't take that road. I used to live on that street. It's a dead end.
