Hmmmm, I got 2 posties today from Indiana. I do believe I already got one from someone called 'adilpated' I think, cause it wasn't signed. It had an Amish horsedrawn carriage so I have my suspicions, LOL

And boy Abbie, those posties really travelled fast!!!

Thanks for the beautiful card! Since you had sent me one from NYC, it never occurred to me that I would get another one from YOU!!

And no, Sean Tucker is not the one who was killed last September at the Reno Air Races. That was Gary Hubler. But thank you for remembering.

Here's Sean's schedule: http://www.oracle.com/cluboracle/tea.../schedule.html

I used to fly aerobatics, if that is what you are referring to! I was a competition aerobatic pilot before I was dx'd with MS. I do fly aerobatics, but not in competition anymore b/c I cannot fly solo now.

The type of airplane that Sean flies is called a Pitts. I have flown many hours in one of those...more upside down than right side up!

I can honestly say that I have never thrown up in an airplane!

YAY!

I got two post cards yesterday. One is a beautiful wren, so thank you so much for that one Wren, It certainly is a pretty little bird, and it's no wonder you took that name as your Nom-de-plume.

...and the other is a gorgeous example of the beautiful world we live in. Thank you so much Curious for those lovely wild flowers.

I hope you'll all forgive me for mentioning Christmas at this time of the year, but I'm saving all your addresses so I can send out Christmas cards to the group, when the time is right. Anyone who'd prefer I shredded their personal details, please say so now so I can do it now.

Me too Curious! You may have read on the MS post card thread when it was up and running, that I sent out small parcels to 2 people who had no idea they were coming, and no reason to think I'd send anything more than one postcard. Twink was one of them, but the other person has been away from the boards for a little while.

The total cost of the items in the parcels was tiny, but that's not the point. Both were surprised and thrilled to receive them out of the blue, and that small act gave me so much pleasure, probably more than it gave to them!

I also sent out another post card last week to some-one else off that list, and I had a PM this morning from the recipient to say how surprised and pleased she was to receive it.

It certainly gives me a lovely feeling inside when something so insignificant as a postcard can brighten up a person's day.

Let's not let this slide into oblivion. It's such a small thing to do, and if posting one little 30 cent postie can brighten up another person's day, then I'm all for it!

I hope your mail man/woman/person is kind to you today.

OH MY.... That was fast!!! I'm amazed!!! Guess my postman was happy with me that day and got them moving quick. (it was pouring rain... I had all of the posties in a plastic bag hanging on the mailbox so all he had to do was grab and go.)
