I think people COME together at times like that...everything else is thrown out the window(no puns intended)...

I am glad the crew and the folks are safe and alive to tell about it and remind some of us, hopefully all of us, that life is short and that we should embrace one another...

One man said how he reached up and got his passport out of his bag, and put it in his pocket so if there was anything left of his body he could be identified quickly. I don't think I'be be able to think that clearly. At least the plane didn't crash, so Quantas hasn't lost it's safest airline name.

Anne, did you rotflmao off the Australian map? That would actually give you a chance to come to the states once you've laughed off the equator.

well, I am going to try and take an ambien although it's almost 6am...
