thats exactly it! the past year ive felt solely responsible for his life and his happiness and now im like "Wait a second what about me?" so im focusing on me, and helping him is secondary but still important to me because it helps me feel good and takes my mind of my problems

I want to say that I have had dreams concerning..sp??(YA MY SPELLING BAD) my twin that have come true to SOME extent.The dream i recall the most was my dreaming he and i were both in a bus crash and he went flying out of school bus. 5 days later he was in a car crash he was ejected out the car window and just about severed his arm off. he has screws and plates and all that in the arm now. I have only had those kind of dreams about my twin and hardly any at all have seemed to come ture but now and then... . It happens and its always my twin .
I Think for the most part dreams are our brain cycling threw our thoughts tryin to shuffle threw issues we dont deal with in our waking life.
or memories we have stored. I have dreams of me lossing my teeth..nightmares of me spitting my teeth out while sitting on side of road.I think this is my mind recalling my accident Which i have no memories of at all. but i must have some memories because i did lose a bunch of teeth and have had tons of teeth,mouth and jaw work done. so I think it is my brain tryin to deal with it .
It is good to offer help and not abbandon a person in need but only to a certian degree. once this interferes with your life or your well being or your
safty or state of mind...it is time to just TAKE CARE OF YOU!!!! You cant love another into doing the right thing or love them into doing what you want.And you can NOT blame yourself for how another reacts or take responsibility for anothers actions...you can only do that for yourself.Love you is what DMAC says(I think its dmac) and it is sooo true! After my first husband commited suicide, I had a re-occuring dream that lasted for many years with some modifications until I married Moi...I haven't had them since our wedding.
I believe it was part of my working through things about his death and my choices after....

I have come to believe that my degree of healing was reflected by the dream and its evolution...

Therefore, I think dreams help us work and sort through our life experiences. I am sure there are other things that dreams do but I feel sure that they serve us at least in this one way...

i feel like my dreams are telling me things i already know or really want to happen, eveythign i dream about is just a reiteration of information i already have (or lack of information leading to dreams of being stuck behind a wall, or a locked door)

i wish dreams worked that if i asked questions to myself before bed, my dreams would take over and answer them while i was sleeping, a kid can dream (no pun intended)

I have wondered about this lately as I have such realistic dreams, but then I realized in my case it is a representation of what is going on in my life now. In some cases I control my dreams to see what could be the future. Like today napping, I was back at my old work place and the HR that was causing em grief to get her bf my psotion was found out. So in my own way I wasnted justification for her wrongful actions, and I was getting credibility that wrong was done to me.

My dream job turned into a nightmare for me and loss of my part time income while on SSDI. I turn that dream into a positive, that I am credible and time will show to the agency the minipultion and loss of a top employee. I know this is going to happen, but not a dream making it true, a realization.

I only glanced at your post and did not read responces, I have been stalliing supper. But, some of us have good intuitaion. We can feel how things will work ot or we want to work out and it comes out in dreams.

I feel like my dreams are telling me IF YOU TRY this is what can happen. and then I wake up and I try and try but everything im trying for is slowing me down

I am undecided about the dream thing because without going into details I have had a couple of dreams in my life that came completely true, but mostly I have horrible nightmares of being chased and falling and feeling terrified and its odd to me that once in a while I have a dream where I remember every detail of my dream as though it was real, when most of the time its bits and pieces of being chased, falling and feeling scared to death! I may try to do a little research on dreams and what they mean, it has always interested me!!

Dreams hmmmmm - I do believe dreams can come true - I agree with much that has been said here. What I've found over the years is that when they do come true there is a qualitative difference in the dreams than when my mind is working things out. And I have been known to make requests prior to going to sleep - I figure if my mind is working things out why not ask for specific things to be worked out, though it is a good idea to be in a meditative state when asking
