Goodness Anne that is horrible!! Were you in a hispital setting?
I know people tend to be cranky after surgery etc...
My step sis, she is a nurse in a nursing home
she finds it very rewarding....

Yes, I did work in a hospital Nikki, and yes the chest infection has improved thank you Moi.

And the abuse wasn't necessarily from people who'd had operations. It's like they think we're they're personal punching bags...verbally and sometimes physically, and then people wonder why nurses leave the work force.

Have been thinking about that, not your chest, the infection. LOL

Well ladies, I have to get up in like 5 hours and I haven't been sleeping, am going to try and get some sleep and snuggle time with da wife
