I'm definitely going to Saint Patrick's. It's the most beautiful church and their manger is awesome. It's sad though because you have to wait in line to see it and naturally you want to kneel down and pray. Do you know what they said to me, no praying, move on

Oh you need to go back and try to replace it dearheart. It should hang on your tree every year in her memory.
 The holidays are hard in many ways...I wish we lived closer...you could spend it with our family.

Move on indeed! Big city talk..I'm a hick. did you read what I posted about trying to talk to someone at ASPS on Wall St? LOL...he was definitely "full of himself" as my husband would say.

I could replace it but she's not here to see it. I know how hard the holidays are on you too Alffe. If we lived closer I'd love to visit you and hopefully meet my new sister Bizi.

Well I thought I'd just drop in on those Prevention people since I was already walking around wall st and this MAN at the reception podium asked if I had an appt...I said no, he said who do you want to see, I said anyone who will talk to me, and he said are you in our computer? and I said no, and he said well, I can't let up go up there with out an appt. and I said can I use your phone and call up there and he said no. LOL

I'm so sorry that happened to you Alffe. But I think after 9-11 our world has changed. Maybe before that you might have gotten in.

I thought it was kind of funny...our world really has changed. For the most part everyone in N.Y. was super helpful and friendly. Must be the white hair. *grin

I feel so bad that she's going through what she is.
I wish I could help her but I don't know what to say. Mind doesn't work right at times.I never walked over the Brooklyn Bridge. Is it near where the World Trade Center was?
