Hi there Lara! Yes... I did see the temperatures up north! Would you believe I was cold this morning?

Temperatures down here are still only in the 20's! Brrrr!

41C yesterday in Sydney.......28C here! :(

It's always cold in Tassie isn't it? Just kidding... almost always.

I went there for a conference mid winter one year. It was so cold and windy. brrrrrrrrr I then flew out of there straight to Fiji where it was steaming hot. Gosh, was I ill after that!

28C is bearable. I'd be happy with that! LOL ;)

I appear to have missed you Lara! My apologies for being slow replying but I was replying to another thread when your message came through.

I hope you have a swimming pool at your house, and if not.... then adequate air contioning as I think Queensland has a lot more hot days to come!

I'm just waiting patiently until Tasmania gets a few warm days that would maybe give us a hint of the beginnings of summer!

I'm signing out now, but please remember I'm usually here if anyone wants, or needs, to talk in the middle of the night.

Goodnight all :grouphug:

No worries. You didn't miss me. You just do what you need to do.

They say we've got a few cyclones lined up for the next couple of months. They've even predicted one here where I am, which is a little off-putting to say the least.

I do have an air-con in the bedroom. It's the first I've ever had in all these years living in the heat. When it gets really hot and hard to walk around, I close everything and open the bedroom door and try to let the whole place cool down. I worry about using that much power though.

Goodnight, Koala. I hope you have a restful sleep there.
You're an hour ahead of me.

talk soon.
