Default It Ticks me Off!

That they STILL haven't brought the load of dirt for the back yard....

That poor Cooper (who has finally quit limping) just sits at the edge of the dirt and stares at what used to be his yard.................

That the county gov't is so broke that they will not pick up leaves again this year and I have a ton to bag up...as soon as the snow melts which is supposed to be today........

That the election (or erection as Imus calls it...) is so negative and there is so much mud slinging that I can't stand to have the TV on.......

That I am being guilted into MAKING the communion bread instead of buying it..........

That I allow people to guilt me! A gutless wonder here.

It ticks me off that that people treat the service industry as second class citizens - using profanity, yelling, and behaving so irrationally that I can hardly imagine how anyone could live with themselves.

It ticks me off that this targetted anger has finally taken its toll on my kindness and I need to take a break. Then I get ticked off because I feel so guilty.

It ticks me off that the doctor and I decided I have to double my meds so that I don't suffer from stress and anxiety -so that I don't reach for a drink when I get home after my job.

It ticks me off that I have to be kind and calm with these irrational people who scream and swear at me.

It ticks me off that my life outside of work has turned upside down because of the stress I am dealing with at work.

It ticks me off that the people in charge have little if any knowledge about human interaction on the internet and that the difficulties I deal with on the telephone are due to people misconstruing the written word.

It ticks me off that people blame others for their mistakes and poor choices.

It ticks me off that I feel guilt for making the choice of taking care of myself and taking a stress leave.

It ticks me off that I will have to forfeit 5 days off pay so that I can destress from this unacceptable behaviour. (thankfully the remaining days will be covered by our health plan and if I'm not better in 2 wks, I can extend the time off).

It ticks me off that it is raining so hard here (isn't it awful scrabbley?) that even the weather reflects the way I am inside.

It ticks me off that I allowed my spirits to get to this point before reaching out for help.

(((Addy))) ......... it ticks me off that you are going through such a rough time with your work and that is has affected you so negatively.

It sounds like you have really had to put up with an awful lot of crap!

I'm really glad that you are doing something about it and that you are taking some much needed time off. (It is so unfair that some of that time has to be unpaid leave.) Do you have any plans for how to de-stress during your time off? In the past I've been told by my shrink to register in a class to do something that I enjoy doing and a few weeks ago I took a one-day workshop on making a rag rug. (I have a large crochet hook and 4 pounds of fabric, in a very long stip!) For me, doing something creative makes me feel better.

Good for you for seeing your doctor now and not letting it all get even worse for you. (I'm trying to 'frame' your situation in a positive manner .... )

Yes, this rain is the pits. Not only is it pouring today, it is also getting very windy. Walking and bussing everywhere is just a chore when it gets like this! Last night I pulled out my large golf umbrella to go out with my daughter to accompany her to a sleep-over with her Pathfinders group and when I got home even the thighs of my pants were soaked.

I'm glad I have my Lite Book though, and I've been using it every morning when I get up for about 15 - 20 minutes. (It sits beside my computer.) I do think it helps, especially when it has been so dark and grey outside lately.

(((Alffe)))

I'm glad Cooper isn't limping anymore but I'm ticked off that he still doesn't have his yard back.

I wonder if your snow is melting? It does not sound like a fun job to have to rake all those leaves.

Would anyone really know if you bought the communion bread instead of baking it?

It ticks me off that it's raining so hard and the leaves are piling up.

It ticks me off that even when it stops it gets dark so early that I won't be able to rake them.

It ticks me off that I wanted to die at one time but "botched" it and now I have this "stigma" about me.

It ticks me off that my boss doesn't understand "me" or, even more importantly, my co-workers.

It ticks me off that I don't even know who "me" is anymore.

It ticks me off that I can't tell anyone that I'm bipolar. So how could they know "me"?

It ticks me off that these meds have me on such an emotional roller coaster and I want to get off.

It ticks me off that I walk in the door with a drink from McDonald's and my idiot husband the one time that he lifts a finger around here, dumps it out and empties the recycle bin and denies until he is blue in the face that he did it. JCMJ!

It ticks me off that I don't use half the brain I have left. Just because we've had a frost doesn't mean the poison ivy is dead.

It ticks me off that a good friend was here tonight and asked me if I had a diagnosis. I still couldn't be honest about being BP and said yes, I'm depressed, that's all.

(I was wondering the same thing Alffe about JCMJ )

I'm slapping my own hand here...it's taking the Lord's name in vain along with his parents. I was so angry that he let me walk around here for ten minutes thinking I was going crazy. Only when I pointed out the ice in the sink (after me asking him several times if he had tossed it) did he admit to it. So then after that he takes to dog to the dog park and comes back and hands me a Diet Coke...that he drank half of....argh.
