Need to let you know that Nikki emailed me just now. A big strom hit she is without power and has a tree on her house.
the Gov declared state of emergency. they may be without power for a few days. sis has lap top but it is low on battery.
. she is okay dont not worry... but BMW says...
lets all send some special prayers to her .
and BMW says Alffe mom thanks so much for helping a dear pal of mine last night. God Bless them helpers WHO ever they may be!!!!!!!!
I will post any info as it comes. I hope and think?? they might have a generator. and she has someone comeing to get tree off house. Sending prayers for you and Lynn to stay safe warm and this passes quickly.

I hope that you get your power back soon. I've been through a few long power outages that caused allot of trouble. I hope that things will be OK. BF

We got our power back

But, I still feel so badly for the hundreds of thousands still without power. This storm was as bad as our 98 ice storm. We didn't have power for 5 days. Thank goodness for our fireplace. We do not have a generator, but I am going to look into one. No power and Alzheimer's does not a good combination make

The tree is still on the house, but thank God it did not go threw the roof! It proved too much for Lynn's boys to handle, so they are coming back with friends to get it off today. WHEW.

I'll be back later, right now I want to get warm! We are baking cookies to bring to the power company head quarters, these crews are out around the clock and brrrr it is cold! Thanks again

seeing those pictures brought back memories of the ice storm we had last year. i'm so glad you got you power back on!!!!hopefully they'll get the tree off your roof and there wont be any damage done. {{{{hugs}}}
