well, I never heard of the Goon show but you've now piqued my interest.
(I typed PIGed my interest and I feel like I've been hogging threads today. LOL)

so I had to look it up...going to have to look into it further, looks interesting!

Keeping up Appearances is my favorite show alffe!!!!! i watch it EVERY sunday night!!!! LOL
and Anne.... that Ying Tong song cracked me up so bad!!! ROFL!!!!!!!!!

Well, I see a lot has happened since I logged off this morning my time. LOL

btw, Hugh Laurie was in 'Blackadder'. (he's the guy from House).

I also loved 'Red Dwarf'. I'm very fond of British humour... being an aussie I guess I would be though. Peter Sellers for example was a true genious.

Lara, you're right, I guess Australians WOULD love British Comedy...LOL

Goofy and Alpho, I have watched bits and pieces of Keeping Up Appearances and I am going to have to start collecting the DVD on it...LOL

one of my favorite is "Are you being Served"

they used to show it on PBS all the time but have stopped...

I am wondering if I can start getting BBC shows...hmmmm...

well, I really better Ying Tong my way to bed...ended up staying longer than I need to be...LOL
