I wonder if you know that the big tree finally did fall on the house, and then so did another one...but God is watching and there appears to be little ( maybe no ) damage. It appears to have fallen alongside the house, scraping down the brick. But the gutter is intact...LOL.
I wonder that I have power but the people across the street don't. We have seen flashes from transformers blowing in the NEXT town over...( it's really close, though).

I wonder if I can tell you that the power went off yesterday morning and just came back on in the last hour or so. I don't know ... I was stuck on the road! Could not get into my own driveway....the ice is terrible. But the Kid is at his aunt's for the night...they got their power back well before we did...and there he is a happy clam.
The brother is making a pot of coffee and we are drawing straws to see who gets to take the first shower. The power may go out again...lots of ice still in the trees, but my son is safe and I am warm for now. Not a lot more I can ask for.
