This is not about support groups but along the same lines. I was using the list of phone numbers for the suicide hotlines in a particular area. I found that some of them were not correct. I kept searching and found the number that I needed to give to someone to call. In fact, I called it myself to see if it was what I was looking for. It was. And I just thought that I would add, for people who are afraid to call these numbers, please don't be. My experience was a very pleasant one as the person on the other end of the line was very caring and helpful. Some of us have a very hard time using the phone. It is something to get over.
Also, I wonder, if the next time something like this happens who I would contact to try to get the information corrected and up to date? Sometimes you have to be pretty vigilant to get the number you need in any one particular area.
