I've come back to edit my post because the gunman in Germany ended up killed 16 people not 10. He then turned the gun on himself, making the number of victims 17.

We all know that 17 victims is just the beginning.

By that I don't mean more people are going to die, but I wonder how many people died inside..... the day those gunman opened fire.

Thank you all for responding to this thread. I learn something from everyone of you.

Moi....we certainly do feel like we are the walking dead sometimes...I love the way the Earth brought you around. Planting takes work, it is action, postitive action, it also takes work to maintain what you want to grow. But, what a reward. I like the analogy of gardening to life itself.

Da duck, you and Wes managed to do something that not enough people get done. I don't know why death is so hard to talk about except there is a lot of fear involved for most people. Love can cure that. But, love requires action. I believe we should live everyday as though it may be our last. We are not guaranteed the next day in this fragile world. Keep your love bright!!!!!

Gardengrl, I love it!!!! And, it is sooooo true that a near death experience can change your perspective on life. I have been there too in a different way. I think it is wonderful the way you are caring for your family members, but, please care for YOU too. My dog has saved me a few times too. Love will always carry us through. Sometimes, its just finding where to express it, and allowing it to flow.

Koala and Curious, its so hard to makes sense out of such tragedy. Certainly the people left behind will need lots of love and support, and, it may not be so easy to come by. But, I hope they will find the support needed. It will be a long journey for all involved.

I guess I need to come up with another quote now...
