I also wonder if those friends who I have become close to will forgive me for not sending Christmas cards, etc. I can't afford it this year and it isn't 'in me' to go through the process.

I don't wonder how depressing the holidays can be for people with low incomes or for people who have no family to share it with...

I wonder why Toys for Tots in this state is struggling this year. My office is taking donations from employees. Toys for Tots is having to turn families away this year for lack of donations.

I hope this isn't considered against the terms of service to post this...
