I was listening to a program on NPR this morning...http://wamu.org/programs/dr/
In 1865, a steamboat sank in the Mississippi River killing seventeen-hundred passengers. Guest host, Katty Kay, and journalist and author, Alan Huffman, discuss the forgotten story of the worst maritime disaster in American history. Some survived and the conversation about those that had was so interesting. He acknowledged that you never know where you are in the process of surviving...if the worst is behind you or there is more to come. How true that is for all of us.
