There are all kinds of events in our life that can cause disillusionment, and it can happen over and over as we strive for the truth in life itself.........

Thank you for posting this. It is so true.
I've woken up today and that disillusionment that I was feeling last night has vaporized and I now feel ready to tackle the nitty gritty again.

I first read this, this morning and liked it...as my day has progressed, it's taken on a whole different meaning for me...hopefully tomorrow, I can "take heart".....please, please.

Thank you Alffe...that is so beautifully said. Right now, faith is all I have, but, that is a lot. You can't put your hands on it but it lifts, and gives hope.

In the old story, when Alice returns home through her looking-glass, she leaves all the wondrous creatures behind inside the fantastic world of the mirror. She has re-entered the real world, and the Queen of Hearts is seen to be no more than a fabrication of Alice’s own wonderful mind. We have returned (or perhaps arrived for the first time) out of the mirror, and into our real lives.

The process is painful - just like divorce is - but you will survive and be stronger than you are now. The real world is displayed out in front of you, like a wonderful and hearty feast, and all you must do now is work and play and enjoy each day in it. Your old relationships are past and gone, and your good new life is real and vibrant in this and every moment.
